CeylonDaththa is a free, community-built directory of tourism-related listings in Sri Lanka — drivers, hotels, cafés, safari companies, attractions, and local experts. Listings are submitted directly by drivers, business owners, and travelers. We do not write, verify, or curate listings before they go live.

Everything on this site — listing details, trust tiers, contact information, prices, and descriptions — is provided for general information only. It is not a guarantee, endorsement, or verified fact. Trust tiers (Unverified, Confirmed, Recommended) reflect community input, not an official inspection or certification. Always confirm details — prices, availability, licensing — directly with the business, driver, or guide before relying on them.

Listings, photos, descriptions, and other content on CeylonDaththa are submitted by members of the public, not written or verified by us. We do not review content before it is published, and we make no representation about its accuracy, completeness, or legality. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CeylonDaththa and its operators accept no legal liability for:

• the accuracy of any listing, price, contact detail, or claim made by a submitter;
• any transaction, booking, or arrangement you make with a person or business listed here;
• any loss, harm, or dispute arising from your reliance on content submitted by someone else.

You use this site, and act on anything you find here, at your own risk.

When you add a listing, a photo, or any other content, you agree to:

• Only submit information you have the right to share, and that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Not submit sensitive personal data about yourself or anyone else — ID or passport numbers, financial information, exact home addresses of private individuals, health information, or anything similar. This is a public directory; anything you submit may be seen by anyone.
• Not upload personal or sensitive photos — no photos of private individuals without their consent, no photos of children without a guardian's consent, and nothing explicit, embarrassing, or intended to identify someone without their knowledge. Photos should show the place, business, vehicle, or public-facing work being listed, not personal or private images.
• Be respectful. Listings and descriptions should be honest and kind. Don't use this platform to harass, insult, defame, or misrepresent another person or business.
• Not submit anything illegal, fraudulent, or that infringes someone else's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).

We reserve the right to flag, edit, archive, or remove any listing, photo, or other content, or restrict any account, at our discretion — including content that breaks the rules above, appears inaccurate, is reported to us, or that we otherwise consider inappropriate or unethical. Admins carry out periodic random checks across listings and content, not only in response to reports, and may remove or restrict anything found during those checks without prior notice.

Signing in only requires an email address, via a magic link — there's no password. By signing in, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for keeping access to your own email account secure, and for the accuracy of anything you submit while signed in.

Listings may link to WhatsApp numbers, Facebook pages, or external websites belonging to the businesses or individuals listed. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the content, policies, or conduct of those third-party services.

We may update these terms as the site grows. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
